'Meet the Developer' Share Fair

  • Over the two day event, All-Energy will host a series of 1-2-1 ‘speed dating’ meetings in the dedicated Share Fair area, located across the exhibition hall above the central boulevard. It’s where you can literally ‘Meet the Developer’ who is looking to expand his or her supply chain.

    Scottish Offshore Wind Supply Chain Forum – Getting Involved

    As chair and vice-chair of the Scottish Offshore Wind Supply Chain Forum (SOWSCF), John and Alan met with companies intending to be, a member of the Scottish Offshore Wind supply chain and wanting to play an active role in collaborating to promote indigenous supply chain benefit and/or willing to help the sector develop a supply chain code of practice.

    Scotia SC also met with companies seeking operational, tactical or strategic support across all layers of the offshore wind supply chain.

    Triton Knoll is constructing a 860 MW Offshore Wind Farm 32 kms off the coast of Lincolnshire in with first generation scheduled for 2021. Triton Knoll met with suppliers who can provide offshore services.

    Was talking to suppliers and helping to inform them whether they will be talking to Inch Cape directly or one of the Tier 1 suppliers in the future.  Also particularly interested in gauging the enthusiasm of local companies to be involved.

    Responsible for all third party labour and man power suppliers for UKIE and Northern Europe, and welcomed the opportunity to be introduced to new suppliers within this commodity area.

    Was looking for heat exchangers, heat pumps, heat network pipework, electric submersible pumps, and injection pumps. A meeting with these suppliers was welcomed.

    EC-OG
    Bodhi Sarkar, Senior Engineer, EC-OG
    EC-OG has developed an innovative, ocean current turbine known as the Subsea Power Hub (SPH) to produce energy for multiple applications. The SPH will provide autonomous electrical power in subsea conditions using a unique patented turbine arrangement. It is easy to install, reliable, cost effective and suitable for remote environments. EC-OG was interested in meeting suppliers specialising in machining, fabrication, composites (composite structures and turbine manufacture) and generators.
